Senator David Bates represents District 32, covering Barrington and Bristol. As the principal in the AN Nunes Insurance Agency in Bristol, he has been a resident of Barrington for more than 40 years.
If elected, he will advocate for Barrington and Bristol, making sure that the interests of all people, not the special interests, are served.

Senator Bates will continue to serve as a counterbalance to the Democratic-controlled Legislature.
As a senior Republican legislative leader, he will also fight for a return to fiscal responsibility at the State House.
